John Pratt Ministries

Saved and called to preach in 1980, with a vision to reach the lost and build up churches that were struggling in the Colorado Springs, Colorado area, John established the John Pratt Evangelistic Association, in 1982. Some of these churches had no pastor, others needed someone to lead in worship, to evangelize or work with their youth. All were small churches and in need of someone to help them get restarted. Sometimes they needed a pastoral counselor to help them heal from internal church problems, but all were in need of Revival.

During these early years John was mentored by Evangelist Dr. Mickey Bonner and Dr. Harlan Harris, by Pastors Dr. Howard Glen and Dr. Lewis Adkinson. By age 25 he was licensed to preach and at age 26 was ordained. In 1986 John left Colorado to attend The Criswell College in Dallas, Texas, for his formal training. There, he continued to learn and grow under the guidence of Dr. Page Patterson and Dr. W. A. Criswell.

Throughout the course of his minstry, God has used John to plant churches

in Texas and Colorado and to restart eleven Southern Baptist congregations. He has served as Executive Director of Evangel Ministries Internation and along with three other Evangelist founded the Colorado Association of Southern Baptist Evangelist.

John has also walked in the valley of personal tragedies. Through them God has given him an understanding of brokenness that has given him the ability to learn from and to stand in lifes storms with praise to God for them. With this brokenness cames the bedrock of prayer and intersession. Taught by Dr. Bonner in the early 1980's before it was the rage of the Christian world John learned the ministry of Spiritual Warefare and Deliverance. Preaching, teaching, counseling and sometime singing but always praying. God has used John to touch lives so God could change them.

As it was once said. The world is yet to see what God will do with the man that is completely sold out to Jesus. This ministry is called to equip those that hunger to be that person.

" My vision is to see thousands of Christians on their knees praying for the Spirit of God to pour out on his people 'Old Time Revival Fires'. By the hundreds, God's beloved, crying out for the healing of their families and their churches. We can reach this city for Christ, if we but have the faith to believe great things of our even greater God."
